A Cue is a plan that doesn't have a time yet. Give it a name, and say what matters if we can't please everyone. The timing comes later.
Everyone you cue in sees this, and it stays on the plan once a date is locked. It has no effect on which dates we propose.
Cue your people.
Pick a crew or a few names. A crew is just your own private shortcut — nobody is told it exists, and nobody can tell whether they were invited by name or as part of one.
Anyone else, by email
Your friend list only ever holds accounts. Everyone else gets a one-off email — “{{ inviterName }} invited you” — with a link that answers this plan without an account. They aren't added to anything, and next time you'd invite them again.

Where may it land?
How long it takes, and where it may land — a stretch of dates or a repeating pattern. We lead with the three that fit best, and everything else that works is one tap away under show all dates — so you're never boxed in by our top three. Whatever's on the list is frozen the moment the round opens, so everyone answers the same question.

Nobody in this Cue has a calendar connected? Then the pattern's own slots become the options, grouped by week — a good poll on day one, and it gets easier every time somebody connects.
The round closes when everyone has answered or the deadline passes, whichever comes first. One person's silence can never hold the group.
